Learn-to-Ride-a-Bicycle Clinic

The Painless Way to Learn-to-Ride-A-Bicycle
& Ditch Those Training Wheels for Good!

  • Where? - at Pedaling History Bicycle Museum
      • 3943 North Buffalo Road - Orchard Park, NY 14127

When? - This Clinic is held frequently in the spring & fall and will be scheduled occasionally as inquiries present a demand. Please inquire when our next clinic will be held. Sessions are usually held on Saturdays, but we’re willing to try an evening should that be of interest.  Previous sessions have been VERY successful and well received.  Generally 90%+  ride in 2 to 3 hours.

What's it all about? Bring those aspiring riders (of any age, we've started them at 2 1/2 and we even do adults & seniors) who seem to need, or are currently using, training wheels; even adult non-riders who just want to learn to ride a bicycle. Take them home a few hours later as a new bicycle rider!  Training wheels come off in one day here at the Museum's exclusive Learn to Ride Clinic. Our training method, proven now for well over a decade, has now produced several thousand new riders.  Training wheels quickly become history generally in one session.

As every child is different, success in this endeavor is not guaranteed although we generally enjoy a better than 85% record of success with those attend a full session. Each child who achieves the riding goal is rewarded with a certificate of achievement and a colorful bicycle pin to wear announcing the accomplishment. Some parents find that their children fatigue before reaching the goal of riding but generally after the start they get at the Clinic the child achieves the riding skill in the next few days if given the proper opportunity. They can then receive the certificate & pin by a quick return visit to show us their accomplishment. For the few who need more “time in the saddle” training, they are invited back to a future session at half price.
