A Shanty in Auntie's Back Yard

(Approx. 35 minutes)

•  A nostalgic and fascinating trip back in time before inside plumbing.

Into the Past Lane

(Approx. 35-40 minutes)

•  The colossal transportation heritage of Buffalo & Western New York and a vision for the Buffalo Inner Harbor Historic District.

The Liberty Pole

(Approx. 35 minutes)

•  For over a century Buffalo claimed title to the tallest flagpole in the world. A civic & patriotic inspiration and meeting place for all, and the city!  A dynamic patriotism heritage and history that should never be forgotten and could easily be resurrected & conveniently and appropriately placed as a remarkable new city icon or landmark!

Fun Music with a Buffalo Connection *

(Approx. 35 minutes)

•  Carl's wife Clary (both are accomplished musicians) joins with him in a nostalgic toe-tapping time that you can't help but sing or hum along with. You'll be fascinated by the Buffalo connection for all of this very familiar music. (A piano, organ or suitable electronic keyboard is desirable at the presentation location.)

Bicycles – the Personal Computers of the 19th Century

(In three parts as time allows – approx. 65 minutes for all)

 

•  History of the bicycle's invention & development and importance.

•  Buffalo's tremendous involvement with bicycles.

•  A photographic bicycle tour of Western New York in the 1880s.

Projector, Screen, etc. all furnished by speaker - to be set up prior to program time.

Speaker presentation fee or honorarium for group sizes up to 60 people is $ 85.00** within a 20 mile radius. Mileage, at the rate of $ .50 per mile is charged for travel exceeding a total round-trip of 40 miles.

* Note: fee for Fun Music with a Buffalo Connection is $100.00 (2 persons required).

** For groups of over 60 people - inquire.
